How I shoot

I specialise in natural contemporary wedding photography for couples who are looking to have their special day captured in a fun and creative way with minimal intervention. I aim to tell the story of your wedding day from start to finish. From the exciting hours getting ready in the morning to the wedding ravers at the end of the night. I will be there capturing the whole day, as it happened.

I don't want to be taking you away from the biggest celebration of your life for two hours, forcing you to become models and posing awkwardly – I want you to have a blast, I want you to just enjoy your day because that is how I will get the best photos out of you.

Whilst I have never been a fan, I will take the family group photos if you wish it, because to some folks they are important images, and they do make certain relatives very happy, but we will keep these to a minimum.

I won't ask much of you throughout the day, but I will always ask you to sneak off with me for 20 minutes or so to have a little time alone together – your first as a married couple! This is a very special moment and I will give you minimal directions and most of them will involve not looking at the camera. I’m not interested in getting posed shots, I’m interested in capturing the moments that happen between you both.

Your day will be fly by in an instant, and I am all about capturing photographs for you, that will help you relive the day for a life time over.
How often will all of the people you love be under one roof?
Those photographs of your bridesmaid swinging her bag above her head on the dancefloor, or the tears from your mum in the morning when you're getting ready, to me, will always be so much more important than even the most beautiful of staged photograph.

So; if you are the type of couple that just wants to throw one big ol' celebration in the name of love, if the thought of being posed and photographed is your idea of hell, then I could be well the right photographer for you.
No matter the venue, whether it be in a church or a forest, up a mountain or in a tent, I will be there to capture it all for you.

I am Suffolk based, but I love to travel, so if you're down the road or you're a plane away, please get in touch below...

FAQ's
frequently asked questions

Where are you based?

I'm based in Suffolk, but I get all over the country.

Do you travel? Does it cost more?

Absolutely, I do. I try not to charge extra for far flung weddings as I love to shoot them so much. So typically I just pass accommodation and travel expenses on at cost with no mark up.

How do I book?

I ask my couples to sign a simple contract to secure the date, along with a 30% deposit of the total amount. The remaining is due 6 weeks before the wedding date.

Can you recommend other suppliers?

Of course, I have gotten to know some great vendors whilst doing this gig, so I'm always happy to make recommendations and offer advice where needed.

Will you stay for the dancefloor?

HELL YES! This is arguably my favourite part of the whole day. And if you choose to go for the bigger package, I will be there with you well in to the night.

How long until we get the photos?

You'll receive a sneak peak gallery a couple of days after your wedding, but for the main album during the wedding season I advise between 6-8 weeks, depending on work load. I do offer a priority editing service if you just can't wait.

How many photos will we get?

Typically, for a full day, your final album will contain 600-800 images.

Are you insured?

Yes. Of course. If your venue would like to see details of this, I'll happily provide.
